Disability and access

We endeavour to make as much of the attraction accessible to all visitors. Partial wheelchair access is available around the gardens, however during periods of sustained wet weather the gardens are closed to wheelchair users. To avoid any disappointment please contact us in advance for further advice.

Accompanying carers are admitted FREE with proof of entitlement. Proof in form of a Carers Allowance entitlement letter from DWP, a Dorset County Council ID Card (i.e. employee of a care/residential home) or a CRISP Carers Card.

Dogs

Sorry no dogs are allowed into the gardens except for Registered Assistance Dogs.

Registered Assistance Dogs must wear their Identifying Jackets and their Environmental Health and Identification Cards must be shown.

Visitors are permitted to take photographs at Bennetts Water Gardens which are exclusively for private, personal use only. Commercial use of any kind is not permitted without the prior written consent of Bennetts Water Gardens, its owners and/or tenants. Please contact us to make a request.

For the safety and enjoyment of all our visitors please do not bring;

  • Bicycles, tricycles, roller skates, skateboards, micro-scooters, balance bikes and other vehicles (except powered wheelchairs)
  • Ball games or similar (you can play our Giant Checkers board)
  • Drones and other remotely controlled aircraft
  • Radios, music players and musical instruments
  • Barbecues or picnic furniture
